GREEN SOUNDS
Nature has proved to be a source of inspiration for many composers over the centuries. Landscapes, the sea or animal sounds form the basis for the most beautiful works in music history. For many classical composers, nature is as timeless a theme as love and death. Not only do composers (try to) imitate (or imitate) the sound of birds in their music, the feeling that nature evokes is also an important source of inspiration.
Nationally and internationally, we are facing the greatest challenge of the century: climate change. Artists have traditionally been at the forefront when it comes to contributing ideas and seeking new possibilities. Through art they open doors for others, be they individuals, specific groups or whole societies. Artists play an important role in finding solutions and driving change.
A day full of classical music, jazz, dance, couture, art, delicious food!
