One of the most striking fashion designers in the Netherlands. Maghsoudi will show his latest creations during Festival Groeneveld during a musical fashion show with a bold nod to the 1920s and the present. Maghsoudi has won the Boy Edgar Prize twice, is a Knight in the Order of Orange Nassau and won the Fashion Designer Prize 2012.

Maya Fridman is a sensation in the music world and also for Festival Groeneveld. Fridman is a creative and versatile artist, musician, improviser and composer. She won one of the biggest Dutch music prizes. As an Artist in Residence, Fridman performs in many venues and at major festivals.

Double bass player and audience favorite of Festival Groeneveld 2018. Back at the Castle with a very special Carte Blanche Jazz program.
Tony Overwater collected celebrities from the Dutch Jazz scene especially for this occasion and put together his own ensemble that plays pieces from the swing and Dixieland repertoire, but with a contemporary twist.

LUMEN ENSEMBLE
Harp and violin. String instruments with completely different sound worlds that enter into symbiosis and put each other to the test. Like good friends who dare to tell each other the truth. For this duo, this is a license to do extensive research!

TONY OVERWATER'S HOT CLUB DE FRANCE
While swing bands were making waves in America, another form of Jazz emerged in France. Especially for this occasion, Tony Overwater invited three great musicians, violinist Julia Philippens, guitarist Maarten van der Grinten and guitarist Reinier Voet, who specializes in Hot club de France. Together they play a contemporary version of the Hot Club de France and will close the festival in a swinging way.
